1. Route the MSD harness along the right side of the bike so the furthest coil connector reaches coil No. 1 and the 26-pin connector reaches the back of the storage compartment. Disconnect the OEM coil connectors and plug the MSD harness inline.
2. Disconnect the OEM 2-pin crankshaft sensor connector and plug the MSD harness inline between the factory connectors.
3. Locate the black 3-pin speed sensor connector on the left side of the bike. Tap the red and black MSD wire into the pink OEM wire. (This signal provides the MSD with the bike's speed.)
4. Find the ECU and locate the gray connector. There, find the black and yellow clutch signal wire. Use the supplied tap device from MSD to connect the blue wire. (This is the signal wire for the Launch Rev-Limiter.)
5. The Compact SB6 mounts nicely in the rear storage compartment.
